The Aqaba Water Company was established in 2004 as a leading company specializing in the management of the water and wastewater sectors, making it the first of its kind in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The company enjoys financial and administrative independence, aiming to enhance operational efficiency to keep pace with the increasing growth in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone and the Aqaba Governorate.
The Aqaba Water Company works in partnership with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority and the Aqaba Development Corporation to provide water security in Aqaba, in line with the Jordanian government’s plans and vision for economic modernization.
